After reading a couple different articles about this topic that every teenage seems to have a problem with, I think time management is the key. Procrastination seems to be ‘inherited’. Its in our human nature to be lazy and put things off. But doing so only leaves a bigger and longer task ahead. We just need to learn to plan ahead. Leave yourself enough time to finish everything and focus on what’s at hand. Don’t expect perfectionism. Feeling that things should be done a certain way can be a stumbling block to beat procrastination. A good famous quote is by Nike, “JUST DO IT!” Getting it done now means more relaxing and enjoyable leisure time later. Getting a planner and writing everything down is a good start. But allowing yourself enough time to do everything is also a consideration. A good example of this is shopping malls. Ever notice how broken up shopping malls are; 2+ levels of floors, twist and turns to get in and around, shortcuts to get to the other side. If malls were laid out in one straight hall, we wouldn’t want to walk all of it. It seems too stressful. But by viewing a ‘broken up mall’ it seems a lot easier to walk and we feel as if it’s a shorter distance. So, BREAK UP YOUR TO DO LIST!

This is so true. No good can come of procrastination. I learned that the hard way.
This is way true. Everyone procrastinates. We don't realize that it would be easier if we just didn't.
This is true but pretty obvious. Of course nothing really good can come about when your procrastinate. Many people realize that when they procrastinate they tend to rush and do not do as well.
Blah...I hate procrastinating. But I just can't stop. After putting it off for several weeks, my new year's resolution will be to stop procrastinating.
yeah i don't really like procrastinating either. but sometimes it's like you just can't help it to not procrastinate. good examples w/ the nike and mall thing it ties in with what you're trying to saying.
Great topic! I liked the analogies with the mall and Nike's slogan. :)
Very interesting article, and it applies to nearly everyone. I liked the analogies.
interesting analogy about malls.
i think that what u say about procrastination is easier said than done. i mean, ive had bad experiences while procrastinating but i still do it. some people perform better under the stress that procrastination creates.
